Digital Policy Award for Thomas Rasmussen

As the leading fiber optics association, the German Broadband Communications Association (BREKO) awards the "Echte Glasfaser" quality seal to German network operators who act as trustworthy, competent and reliable fiber optic partners on site in German regions and thus actively implement the "Fiber for Future" leitmotif for Germany's competitiveness. This award was presented to net services GmbH & Co. KG in the summer of this year. "We are very pleased about this award and the associated seal of quality," says Dirk Moysich, Managing Director of net services. "We have been operating broadband networks and building our own fiber-optic infrastructures for many years. The seal underlines our strategy - to drive forward the expansion of fiber optics in Germany," Moysich continues.

As part of the application process to receive the "Echte Glasfaser" quality seal, net services was able to nominate politicians who have shown exceptional commitment to fiber optic expansion.

Last week, Roman Skrodzki, BREKO's municipal policy officer, visited net services GmbH & Co. KG in Flensburg to award Mr. Rasmussen, the mayor of the municipality of Handewitt, together with Managing Director Dirk Moysich.

"I am very grateful for this award and recognition. By far the largest infrastructure project in our community, probably the biggest milestone was reached just this month, the network could be put into operation." Rasmussen was pleased when he held the certificate in his hands. Dirk Moysich also thanked Mr. Rasmussen for his extraordinary commitment during the marketing process, who brought in a high degree of personal initiative and was always full of energy to support the project.

Almost 4,000 households in the Handewitt municipality have been marketed with the komflat brand, and more than 300 customers have been connected to the network since this month and are benefiting from the future-proof fiber-optic connections.
