Educational Landscape

The non-profit Schutzengel GmbH is the sponsor of the educational landscape in the municipality of Handewitt. The educational landscape sees itself as a contact point and network partner for the needs and interests of families in Handewitt. Here, parents, children, grandparents, volunteers, etc. find a variety of offers for early education and counseling.

The educational landscape is supported by the district of Schleswig-Flensburg and the municipality of Handewitt.

The main tasks are:

- Early education for families with children aged 0-6
- Strengthening parental skills
- Networking to ensure transitions between educational institutions
- Support for socially disadvantaged children
- Promoting the coexistence of different cultures

The current offers of the educational landscape Handewitt:

- Movement and touch for parents with baby
in the crèche house of Adelby 1, Alter Pferdemarkt 4, 24983 Handewitt
every Thursday (except during vacations)
Course 1: 9-10.15h for toddlers
Course 2: 10.15-11.30h for very young children

Learning mentors
